
The bronchogen peptide is a synthetic four amino acid chain, Ala-Asp-Glu-Leu, from the same Russian bioregulator tradition that produced epithalon. It reaches this site the way most of these compounds do: someone training hard, dealing with a respiratory limiter, finds a peptide that claims to act on lung tissue.
The evidence behind that claim is worth laying out precisely, because the search results overstate it by a wide margin.
Why a search suggests more evidence than exists
PubMed returns roughly twelve records for the name. Read the titles and most of them concern bronchogenic cysts and bronchogenic carcinoma, which are unrelated conditions sharing a word stem. A 1989 neonatal cyst, a 2006 laparoscopic extirpation, a 1988 carcinoma case. The search engine is matching letters, not subject matter.

The registry hit is a different product entirely
ClinicalTrials.gov returns one record. It is NCT00746759, "Airway Epithelium Gene Expression in the Diagnosis of Lung Cancer: AEGIS IDE", sponsored by Allegro Diagnostics.
It is an observational study. Its listed intervention is a diagnostic device, marked in the record itself as not used as an intervention. It is looking for gene expression signatures in smokers that indicate lung cancer earlier than imaging would. Allegro used the name BronchoGen for a diagnostic test, and the registry search matches the string rather than the substance.
So there is no registered human trial of this peptide, and the single result that appears to be one is a cancer diagnostic.
What this means for a training context
Nothing here was measured in a person, let alone a trained one. Rat bronchial epithelium under induced obstruction is a model of a disease process, not a model of an athlete's ventilatory ceiling, and the paper does not claim otherwise.

The check worth doing on any compound like this
Two fields settle most of it. In a literature search, read titles rather than the result count, because word stems inflate the count for anything with a common medical root. In a registry search, read study type and lead sponsor before anything else. Observational plus a diagnostics company means you are not looking at a trial of the thing you searched for.
