Nobody has, at least not for anything a reader of this site cares about, and no study in any organism has administered this peptide and then measured muscle mass, strength or body fat.

What follows is where the figures actually come from, what each origin can legitimately support, and why the arithmetic is the least important part of the question. It contains no protocol, since writing one would mean inventing the evidence to justify it.

Where an Epithalon dosage figure actually comes from

Trace almost any number back and it lands in one of four places.

Research from Khavinson and colleagues in St Petersburg is the only genuine research origin. Amounts in that work were chosen to produce a measurable effect in the system being studied: an enzyme response in cultured human cells, or an outcome in mice and rats. Those are study parameters selected for those experiments.

Vendor listings are the second and by far the largest source. Suppliers publish ranges because a listing without one converts poorly, and the range is usually copied from another listing.

Clinic and wellness protocols form a third source. These carry the authority of being administered by somebody in a coat, and that authority is not evidence. A protocol used in a private clinic has no more research behind it than the vendor page it was probably drawn from.

Forum consensus is the fourth, and it is the first three laundered through repetition. By the time a figure reaches a comment it has lost its organism, its endpoint and its route, and it looks like an established fact.

Extract and tetrapeptide are not the same substance

There is a specific confusion in this topic that inflates the apparent evidence base for any number.

The synthetic tetrapeptide was developed out of work on Epithalamin, a preparation made from the pineal gland. A preparation of that kind is a mixture, and a mixture cannot be dosed the way a defined peptide can. Amounts used in the older extract work do not carry over to the synthetic compound, because the substances are not the same and their content is not comparable.

Sources routinely blur the two, sometimes because they are summarising an older literature and sometimes because a longer history makes a product look better established. Either way, a reader who sees a figure should know which substance it belonged to, and most pages do not say.

A dose requires an endpoint, and lean mass has never been one

A dose is not a fact about a molecule. It is the output of a study that gave several amounts and measured a defined outcome, then located where benefit and harm crossed each other.

For muscle, that study does not exist in any organism. No rodent experiment weighed muscle or measured fibre size after administering this compound. No cell culture work was done on muscle tissue. No human study measured lean mass or body fat. There is no dose response curve because there is no response that has been measured.

So the question of how much for muscle has no denominator. Anyone answering it is either repeating a number chosen for cultured cells or rodents, or supplying one from nothing.

The gap between the top two rows and the bottom row is the whole topic. Real research amounts exist, and they were chosen against outcomes that have nothing to do with a body.

A concentration in a dish is not an amount for a person

One conversion in this topic is not a hard conversion, it is a category error, and it deserves its own warning.

The telomerase findings come from cell culture. In that setting a compound is added to a medium at a known concentration and the cells sit in it. Nothing has to be absorbed, nothing is broken down in the gut or the liver first, nothing has to survive in blood long enough to reach a tissue, and nothing is cleared by a kidney.

A person taking a peptide faces all of those steps. What ends up at any given tissue is a fraction of what went in, determined by processes the dish removed from the picture. There is no arithmetic that turns a well concentration into a human amount, and anyone presenting one has bridged a gap that pharmacology does not let you bridge.

That matters here because the cell work is the source of the most quoted claim about this compound. Some of the confidence attached to online figures is borrowed from a body of evidence that, by its nature, cannot generate a dose at all.

The course structure that arrived with the marketing

Alongside the amount, this compound carries a distinctive dosing shape: a defined course, repeated at intervals, often described as being done once or twice a year.

That structure comes from the tradition the compound grew out of, where peptide preparations were given as periodic courses. It is not a conclusion from a dose ranging study in healthy adults, and the intervals have not been tested against alternatives.

The structure is persuasive because it sounds medical and because it is easy to follow. Repetition has given it the feel of a standard. A reader should notice that an interval nobody tested is not more conservative than a different interval nobody tested, it is simply the one that got repeated.

There is also nothing in the record about what prolonged or repeated use does in a healthy person over years. That is the question the course structure appears to answer and does not.

Where the numbers question usually goes next

Is there an established Epithalon dosage for a healthy adult?

No. There is no marketing authorisation anywhere, no registered trial, and no dose finding study in healthy adults that a reader can examine.

Do the research amounts convert to a person?

Not usefully. Cell culture concentrations are not doses at all, and rodent amounts do not scale to people by body weight arithmetic. Both were chosen against endpoints that are not muscle.

Would more of it do more for body composition?

There is no measured body composition effect at any amount in any organism, so there is nothing for a larger amount to increase.

Why are the courses always described the same way?

Because pages copy each other. A widely repeated interval is evidence about publishing, not about biology.

Is the amount or the source the bigger risk?

The source. An unverified vial makes every calculation downstream of it meaningless, however carefully it was done.

This compound has no approved pharmaceutical version anywhere in the world. That is worth pausing on, because for some peptides a reader can at least point at a manufactured product that exists somewhere. Here there is none.

So every buyer is receiving a powder from a supplier, with an identity, a purity and a quantity attested by the party being paid. Independent testing is uncommon, and certificates supplied on request often describe a different batch from the one shipped. If the quantity in the vial is not what the label says, then the amount someone measures is not the amount they take, and the precision of the discussion is decorative.

Then the buyer becomes the person handling reconstitution, storage and, for anyone injecting, sterility. Non sterile injection is a well established hazard in humans and does not require the compound to be harmful.

The last point is the one that closes the topic. Even a perfectly sourced product, dosed exactly as the research used it, has no established effect on muscle in any organism. The dosing conversation assumes an outcome nobody has demonstrated, and getting the number right does not repair that.
